DELix - Lisbon Winter School on Data Science and Engineering

Objectives:
-- DELix will cover the potential and limitations of the state of the art in techniques and technology for data science and engineering;
-- The special focus of the 2017 edition will be on "Stream Processing";
-- The level will range from introductory up to middle level.
Targeted audience:
-- Professionals (Engineering or Business) aware of data transformation challenges or from industries providing solutions for that purpose;
-- University students (PhD and MSc) focused on data science and engineering.
Participants will acquire competency in recognizing opportunities and challenges in data transformation scenarios, and in classifying solutions for that according to the state of the art in data engineering.
